Thinking about thinking

I think thát I exist, you know.
That's a very strange issue: thinking about thinking.  Can Thinking really think about it's thinking? Yes, Thinking can do this very well...
 Self-examination
I will watch my own thinking very good (I think). It starts right away difficult because means 'observing'  thinking?
Last night I was thinking about what kind of stories I could write about the link between Christianity and Advaita Vedanta. As I thought about it, I caught myself that I thought as if I was writing (behind the PC). That is, I think in whole sentences, in the pace at which I type this.Actually I never think that way. So I became aware of the contradiction.  I never think in full sentences, I think in tatters.  Here, a word, a half sentence , in combination with images, which are rapidly associated. And how do I know?
In the beginning, because I'm remembering it  after a fraction of a second.  I remember  my sensory responses: I hear something, I feel something, I see something and my brains register and  register also  the emerging words and images.  That seems very complicated, such an analysis. Maybe things are not true. Finally, I am now thinking about thinking, and that continues into the endless. . Most people shrug their shoulders at this.  The content of thoughts is more interesting than the phenomenon of 'thinking' in itself.  Because that is obviously the main function of thinking: coming to something coming.
But thínking about thinking is actually also  about the content, make no mistake. (The thought itself is the content, and then you think again about that, so that's also the content.)
Watching Think is fun, I recommend it to anyone.
The phenomenon of Silence
The funny thing is, if I concentrate on the awareness of my mind ( just looking at Thinking,  without thinking about it -  you think) that I think it becomes more quiete. I  can say with full conviction that, as you well enough keep looking  to that phenomenon "thinking" , you finally "fall" in Silence. And you would definitely believe me if I ever keep repeating that there is ultimately nothing  but that Silence.  That's   quite fashionable, that Silence.  Some gurus  absolutely love it.  If you will practice meditation and  fall  in that Silence , your mind becomes more quiet.
There has been already much research, and  these studies show that  it works as I say . If you find out that this silence make you pieceful, you'll get addicted to this silence. You''re not realizing that every cry that you express, every fear, every joy or other  feelings you experience , are exactly the same as that silence where ever you are looking for!  You are, by thinking that you should look for silence all the time, again  a slave of your desire for bliss. (Does not mean that the experience of bliss  is a nice bonus.) Silence is what you really are, in any capacity!
The mental separation between Silence and Thinking (that  seems to appear in silence) , can be made as a first step to Awareness. It's quite useful when you start to understand what Thinking exactly  means to you. To examine your thinking you can make a separation between the thinker and thát what Thinking observe without judgment. (That which is aware of your thinking.)
. If you look carefully you'll discover that your body and mind and their friends Sense and Emotion, are fanciful concepts with which you continually identifies. All these concepts can be organized under the heading "Thinking."  You are thought by you. You are nothing but a thought.
You're both the Silence, as the space between the thoughts, as the Thinking/ thoughts itself! Jij wordt gedacht en jij bent Gedacht. You are thought and  you are aThought.
Maybe you won't understand  what I am saying.  Your mind will resist or perhaps become in conflict with itself.  That's because the mind itself will never want to kill itself!  It will never tell itself that it does not exist. The more you see that 'thinking' lives an arbitrary life of its own, the more the mind rebels,  and will let you  think you have something to say about it.. In essence, you have nothing to say about it. . Thinking thinks itself.
Research not only the content of your thinking, but the phenomenon of 'thinking' in itself.
